Addis Ababa:Ethiopia has ordered an Egyptian diplomatic staff member, Ahmed Moharam Ahmed Soliman, to leave the country within 48 hours after declaring him persona non grata.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, Ethiopia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the Egyptian Embassy in Addis Ababa about the decision, which is in accordance with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. The ministry expects Soliman to depart within the specified timeframe.
The diplomatic action underscores the implementation of international diplomatic protocols, with Ethiopia renewing its assurances of high consideration to the Egyptian Embassy despite the expulsion.
