Addis Ababa:Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed announced that advance preparations by the government and the public have resulted in sustaining encouraging winter farming performance in the Bale Zone, despite concerns over insufficient rainfall.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, the Prime Minister highlighted that a review of the winter farming performance in the Bale Zone showed good results, attributing this success to the proactive preparations undertaken by both government and public efforts.
PM Abiy further stressed the importance of strengthening economic resilience against both human-induced and natural challenges. He emphasized that proactive planning, preparedness, and expanding the available options are crucial for ensuring the economy remains resilient and can withstand various challenges.
