High-level Ethiopian Delegation Engages in Talks with IMF Leaders on Economic Reforms

WASHINGTON: A high-level Ethiopian delegation, led by Finance Minister Ahmed Shide and National Bank Governor Mamo Mihretu, engaged in discussions with Kristalina Georgieva, the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and senior officials from the IMF's Africa Department. The talks focused on ongoing economic reforms in Ethiopia and future cooperation between the nation and the IMF.According to Ethiopian News Agency, the delegation also included Teklewold Atnafu, Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister, and Eyob Tekalign, Finance State Minister, among other officials. The discussions were held at the Ethiopian Embassy in Washington D.C.
