Addis ababa: The Ethiopian Federal Police and the Inter-Religious Council of Ethiopia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at working together to ensure peace in the country. The agreement was signed by Federal Police Commissioner General Demelash Gebremichael and Inter-Religious Council Secretary-General Tagay Tadele.According to Ethiopian News Agency, Commissioner General Demelash emphasized that the MoU would enhance collaboration between the two entities. He stated that the agreement is expected to play a crucial role in preventing potential conflicts and ensuring adherence to law and order across Ethiopia.Inter-Religious Council Secretary-General Tagay Tadele highlighted the importance of the MoU in fostering peace-building initiatives.
