New York:Ethiopian President Taye Atske-Selassie held discussions with Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, during the 81st United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, the meeting focused on reinforcing the longstanding partnership between Ethiopia and the UAE, expanding joint development projects, and enhancing cooperation on regional and multilateral issues of shared interest.
President Taye shared on X that the discussions aimed at deepening bilateral ties and exploring opportunities for joint initiatives during this global assembly, highlighting Ethiopia's active diplomatic engagement at UNGA81.
The relationship between Ethiopia and the UAE encompasses various sectors, including development and investment, with both nations committed to exploring further opportunities for collaboration.
