Addis Ababa:Ethiopia and China have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening their longstanding All-Weather Strategic Partnership, emphasizing expanded cooperation in trade, investment, and capacity building.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gedion Timothewos, held talks with Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia, Chen Hai, to discuss strengthening the partnership between the two nations.
During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on enhancing bilateral relations and agreed to deepen cooperation in key areas such as trade, investment, and capacity building. Ambassador Chen Hai reaffirmed China's commitment to supporting the successful implementation of the Medemer Government's development plans.
The discussions highlight the shared interest of Ethiopia and China in advancing their strategic partnership and broadening economic and development cooperation.
