The report highlights the significant impact of energy costs, particularly diesel, on the economies of several African countries. For many nations on the continent, affordable energy is crucial for economic stability.According to Ethiopian News Agency, lower diesel prices in Africa fuel economic growth and development in key sectors such as manufacturing, transportation, and agriculture by reducing operating costs. Diesel remains the primary energy source in many African countries, especially those struggling to establish robust infrastructure for cleaner and more sustainable energy options.Access to affordable diesel provides much-needed stability and financial relief to individuals and businesses, particularly in countries with low purchasing power.
