Addis ababa: The ongoing corridor development and mega projects in Addis Ababa have brought about an astonishing transformation in the city's image, according to ambassadors residing in the capital city.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, the ambassadors noted that the dramatic changes witnessed in the capital over a short period are striking. Addis Ababa has transformed its urban landscape and become a modern, beautiful, and convenient city for both residents and visitors.

Romania's Ambassador to Ethiopia, Julia Pataki, remarked on the inconceivable scale of transformation achieved in Addis Ababa. She highlighted that the city has changed so dramatically over the past year and a half that some areas she once knew have become difficult to recognize. Ambassador Pataki emphasized that Addis Ababa has become a modern city with wide roads, attractive pedestrian walkways, and parks as a result of the corridor development works. She noted that this transformation is not only a government project but also a public one, with initiatives ranging from the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam to tourism development efforts deserving appreciation.

Mexico's Ambassador to Ethiopia, Alejandro Ives Estivill Castro, also commented on the enhancements brought by the corridor development. He stated that it has not only enhanced the beauty of the city but also created a more comfortable and accessible environment for residents. For foreign nationals, moving around, driving, and enjoying the city has become much easier and more appealing.

Finland's Ambassador to Ethiopia, Sinikka Antila, expressed admiration for the corridors, parks, and riverside developments. She stated that the projects carried out across the city are remarkable, making Addis Ababa an increasingly attractive place to live and spend leisure time.

Bangladesh's Ambassador to Ethiopia, Air Vice Marshal Sitwat Nayeem, highlighted the impressive speed at which the transformation is taking place. He added that the difference between what he saw in July last year and what exists now is like day and night, applauding the work being done to make the city meet international standards.
