Ethiopian delegation led by HE Ato Ahmed Shide held talks with the head of the UK Delegation to the WB/IMF Spring Meetings Rt Hon. Vicky Ford, Minister for Africa at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

They discussed on cooperation between Ethiopia and UK in economic and humanitarian assistance for people affected by conflict and drought.

The minister stressed the Government has declared Humanitarian Truce to facilitate the free flow of emergency humanitarian aid into the Tigray region. The minister also further explained his government commitment to bring lasting solution to the conflict.
