Addis Ababa — Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held a meeting with Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala to discuss bilateral issues at the Office of the Prime Minister earlier today.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, Prime Minister Fiala is undertaking a three-day working visit in Ethiopia. His visit commenced with a cordial reception by Prime Minister Abiy at Bole International Airport the previous day.
Post the bilateral meeting, Prime Minister Abiy expressed his contentment on Facebook about hosting Prime Minister Fiala and emphasized the intention to enhance the relations between the two nations for shared developmental goals.
The Czech Prime Minister's visit is centered on reinforcing the strategic bilateral relationship and cooperation with Ethiopia, focusing on development and investment spheres.
Prime Minister Fiala, after his Ethiopian visit, is scheduled to proceed to other sub-Saharan African nations including Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, and Côte d'Ivoire to continue his diplomatic engagements.
