President Taye, Members of Diplomatic Community Visit Mesob One-Stop Service Center
Addis Ababa: President Taye Atske Selassie and members of the diplomatic community based in Addis Ababa, along with heads of international organizations, visited the recently inaugurated Mesob One-Stop Service Center earlier today. The visit underscored the government’s commitment to improving public service delivery.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, President Taye was joined by State Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hadera Abera and Ambassador Berhanu Tsegaye, during the visit. President Taye emphasized that providing efficient services to the public is a fundamental responsibility and duty of the government. He highlighted that the launch of the One-Stop Service Center is a significant step towards enhancing the overall services provided to the public.
The Mesob One-Stop Service Center aims to digitally integrate services by bringing together 12 institutions under one roof, offering over 40 different services. The initiative is designed to streamline processes, reduce the time spent by citizens, and enhance the efficiency and accessibility of services.
During the visit, Ambassador Siraj Rashid, Director General of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, explained the services offered to citizens and the operational procedures of the Ministry. Efforts are ongoing to modernize and enhance service delivery to ensure it is comprehensive, fast, and aligned with current technological standards.
