Ethiopian State Minister and UNDP Representative Conclude Collaborative Tenure
ADDIS ABABA – The State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Mesganu Arga, conducted a farewell meeting with the outgoing United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Representative, Turhan Saleh.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, the discussions focused on the significant role of the UNDP in capacity building within Ethiopian institutions. Ambassador Mesganu acknowledged the impactful contributions and leadership of Turhan Saleh during his four-and-a-half-year tenure, particularly in institutional development, and extended best wishes for his future endeavors.
Turhan Saleh reciprocated the sentiment, expressing honor for his time served in Ethiopia and emphasizing the collaborative efforts with key Ethiopian commissions, including the National Electoral Board, National Dialogue Commission, and National Rehabilitation Commission. He affirmed the strong and reliable relationship between the UNDP and the Ethiopian government.
