Ethiopia and Pakistan Seek to Strengthen Bilateral Ties
ADDIS ABABA – Discussions between Ethiopian and Pakistani diplomats today centered on enhancing the longstanding relations between the two nations.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, and Mian Atif Sharif, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Ethiopia. The dialogue covered multiple avenues for advancing the bilateral relationship, with a focus on sectors such as trade, investment, aviation, and cultural and technical assistance.
Ambassador Mesganu advocated for strengthening the ties between Ethiopia and Pakistan and highlighted Ethiopia’s favorable investment environment, inviting greater investment from Pakistani businesses.
On his part, Ambassador Mian Atif acknowledged the solid bilateral relations existing between the two countries and conveyed Pakistan’s aspiration to further enhance these relations, both bilaterally and in multilateral arenas. He recognized Ethiopia’s potential for investment, particularly in agriculture, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and construction, noting substantial opportunities for Pakistani investors in these sectors.
