KAZAN: BRICS member and partner countries have shown interest in collaborating with Ethiopia on matters of peace and security. This development was highlighted by Ambassador Redwan Hussein, Director-General of the National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS), during a briefing on Ethiopia's participation in the 16th BRICS Summit of Heads of State, which took place in Kazan, Russia.According to Ethiopian News Agency, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed attended the summit alongside a delegation of high-level ministers. Ambassador Redwan outlined the focus on peace and security as a key topic during the discussions.
