ACCRA — Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been elected as the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), following the declaration of results by the Electoral Commission of Ghana. According to Ghana News Agency, Bawumia achieved a significant victory, securing 61% of the valid votes cast and winning in 14 out of 16 regions.
